We are a friendly amateur orchestra which meets on Tuesday evenings during school term time.  Rehearsals take place in the main hall at Sonning Common Primary School, just north of Reading, from 7.30pm until 9.30pm.

 

In the Autumn Term 2025 our programme is Die Fledermaus Overture (Strauss), Pelleas and Melisande (Faure) and Lt Kije Suite (Prokofiev).

 

In the Spring and Summer terms 2026 we will be working on Beethoven 6 (Pastoral Symphony) and Dvorak Slavonic Dance  Op 72 No 2 in E minor.
